Hunter River High School Cultural Room Outdoor Learning Area

At Hunter River High School our Cultural Room Outdoor Learning Area is a place for staff, students and community members to connect through social, academic and cultural gatherings.

The area was built, under the guidance of Paul Lane from Kurri TAFE, by our students as part of their Certificate II in Horticulture.

The area includes a Bush-tucker garden, BBQ, wood-fired pizza oven, mosaic screens, wall murals and a yarning circle.

Below are some photos of its progress.
