There was lots of excitement in the Year 1/2 classroom this week as AEO Miss Casey led a Gathang lesson.

Students learned how to say how they were feeling and proudly shared their emotions with their classmates. From happy, excited, nervous, and sad, everyone had a turn to speak and listen.

The room was filled with smiles, thoughtful sharing, and supportive comments as students encouraged one another.

It was a wonderful celebration of language, culture, and connection — and the class can’t wait for the next Gathang lesson with Miss Casey!
