Glen William Public School Baiame Cave Excursion

On Friday 18 March, Glen William Public School went on an excursion to Baiame Cave. In the lead-up to the excursion, students learnt about Baiame Cave, and the history, methods and materials of Aboriginal rock paintings. They participated in a range of activities from rock painting and storytelling, to spit painting techniques.

On the excursion, Uncle Warren shared stories, showed and explained rock paintings and enlightened students with Aboriginal history and geography. Students thoroughly enjoyed the excursion and gained a lot of knowledge and understanding. A huge thank you to Uncle Warren for his time and knowledge.
